Barton Ross, AIA 


Barton is a qualified Historic Architect per the Secretary of the Interior’s Code of Federal Regulations, 36 CFR Part 61, who has contributed to master plans for the Virginia State Capitol, the United States Capitol and Princeton University. His preservation work has been recognized by the Society of Architectural Historians, the Vernacular Architecture Forum, the General Services Administration, and the National Park Service. Barton currently serves on the Board of Directors for the AIA Chesapeake Bay Chapter, the Construction Specifications Institute’s Northeast Region, and chairs the Historic Resources Committee for AIA Maryland. He is a graduate of the Virginia Tech School of Architecture + Design and received master’s degrees from Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania.
