AIA Maryland Welcomes Marcus Monroe as Strategic Council Representative

We are proud to announce that Marcus Monroe, Associate AIA, has been selected to represent AIA Maryland on the AIA Strategic Council for the 2026–2029 term.

Marcus brings a strong voice to the Strategic Council, with a clear vision for the future of the profession and a passion for elevating the role of architects in shaping resilient, inclusive, and forward-thinking communities. His dedication to leadership and engagement has already made a significant impact within our chapter, and we are thrilled to see him take that commitment to the national level.

The AIA Strategic Council serves as a vital body that researches emerging trends, facilitates strategic dialogue, and advises the AIA Board of Directors. As Maryland’s representative, Marcus will help ensure our members’ perspectives are heard as AIA plans for the future of the profession.
